1978: The origins

The origin of Sasga Menorquin Yachts date back to 1978, when Juan Sastre Bernat founded Astilleros Menorca to build a range of yachts inspired by the traditional llaüts of the island of Menorca. From very humble facilities, the company created Menorquin Yachts and entered the international marine industry with a safe, comfortable vessel that offered great stability and an unusually high level of equipment for these kinds of boats, together with a classic and timeless design.
